It's been a little bit (okay a LONG bit) since I last wrote a blog post, but during that time I've been keeping busy with my business as fall has been in full swing along with balancing school and prepping for my LAST semester of college. I can't believe that October came and went so quickly. I feel like I didn't have nearly enough time to truly enjoy the fall season but I still got to work with some amazing people and create some of my favorite images.
So here's just a small glimpse into what I've been doing this month! I hope to keep this "month in review" going each month to force myself to write blog posts and keep updating my website with new work. I love having things like this to personally reflect on my strengths and weaknesses and ways I can improve in the month to come. I hope you all enjoy going through this as well!
Of course, to start off the month I wanted to do a cute fall pic to post to Instagram. I don't like pumpkin spice lattes (shocker since this image screams "basic") but still included Starbucks in hopes of getting sponsored. I dream big.
We had a bonding photo hike at Mound State Park for the Ball State Daily News and I got some cute pics of my editor, Kaiti.
I got to cross off "cover a music festival before I graduate" this month after covering the Fountain Square Music Festival in Indy! These are just a couple shots I got, but I plan on writing a blog post with a full gallery.

I never got around to sharing photos from this session (maybe I'll do a late Halloween post?) but this was one of my FAVORITES from October. Huge thank you to Claire for doing the makeup for us!! If you ever need a make-up artist, I highly recommend her!

I don't get to do a ton of maternity photos, but I was so excited when I was contacted to do these! I can't wait to meet Desirae and Travis's little one soon!

Turning 16 or model?? Gracie ROCKED her sweet 16 session and I always love when I get to work with dancers

Nothing's cuter than kids throwing leaves and twirling their dresses, which Jovie did pretty well for her 4th birthday photos.
I'm really pushing myself to work with models to help build my portfolio for my internship next semester and I've been dying to work with Katherine for months. I'm so glad I could fit a session in, even if it was WAY too cold to be out taking photos comfortably.

Well that's it, you made it to the end of this month! Give this post a little love below if you'd like to see something like this every month! Thank you to everyone who made this month so memorable and I cannot wait to see what I create in November!
Those will be the days that I will be missing. When I’m old and when I’m gray and when I stop working. I hope that I can say, when all my days are done, that I had my fun. // Way Back When - Kodaline
