12 Days of Christmas
Most years, I never have any holiday or festive photos to post when Christmas comes around, so last month I decided that this year I would be prepared for the holiday season. I had such a fun time planning and taking these photos and I'm so glad I took the time to make this happen. So to celebrate today, here's my collection of "12 Days of Christmas!"
Dedicated to my favorite at-home holiday drink, Starbucks peppermint hot cocoa.
Red blankets, Christmas lights, and a whole lotta love.
My favorite sugar cookies, that seem to taste even better when they're made for the holidays.
I've been wanting to do milk bath photos for a really long time and decided that now would be a perfect time to try them. And I am definitely not disappointed in the results.
One of my favorite holiday traditions is making a gingerbread house, except no matter how hard I try they never turn out as perfect as the pictures on the box. At least the bokeh in the back distracts from my lack of decorating skills.
Some of my favorite studio portraits to date. Cleaning up the fake snow was not the easiest though.
If you thought I could do a 12 Days of Christmas without showing off a Starbucks holiday cup, you were wrong. I'm still waiting for that sponsorship!
We've only gotten a couple days with snow and it never lasted long, so on a snowy morning, I made my sister go outside and take a few photos with me. I'm still crossing my fingers for some more snowy days just so I can get more cute snow pics (then after I'm done it can go away!).
Showing off those Christmas socks.
Happy 21st Birthday to me! When your birthday falls so close to Christmas, you take a day to celebrate yourself. Thank you to my wonderful friend and photographer, Samantha Brammer (Samantha Rose Photography) for taking my 21st Birthday photos!
Don't forget to set out those Christmas cookies and milk for Santa!
One of my cute family Christmas mini photos to finish these 12 days up!
I hope all of you have the happiest of holidays and a blessed Christmas spent with family and friends!
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." LUKE 2:10-11
